Deuteronomy 15:10 – ‘’Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to’’

St. Marys Indian Orthodox Church, Bristol (SMIOC) is a charitable organisation registered with the charity commission under registration number 1113931.

SMIOC has undertaken various charity projects and provided financial support for the treatment to an individual who suffers from chronic Kidney disease and another who is suffering serious injuries following a tragic accident. On several occasions, the parish has undertaken a collection of canned foods and other essential items from our members and donated it to Bristol North West Food Bank under Trussell Trust. Historically, the parish members have also held their hands to support flood victims in Kerala, India.

During the last financial year alone the parish has donated over £7,000 to different charitable activities. All these contributions made the world of difference to those in our local and wider community.
