Feast of the Holy Cross(Sleeba Perunal) will be celebrated in the church on 13th September 2022.Evening prayer begins at 6:30pm followed by Holy Qurbana and Exaltation of the Cross. All the faithful are requested to attend the service with prayer.
September 14th is celebrated as the Feast of the Holy Cross or Exaltation of the Cross (or Triumph of the Cross). On this feast we honour the Holy Cross by which Christ redeemed the world. The miraculous discovery of the cross on September 14, 326, by Saint Helen, mother of Constantine, while she was on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem, is the origin of the tradition of celebrating the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross on this date. Constantine later built the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on the site of her discovery of the cross.
Three days Lent (Commemoration of Prophet Jonah) will be celebrated on Wednesday,1st February 2023 at church, with evening prayers followed by Holy Qurbana.
Mayaltho Perunal(Jesus entry into the temple) will be celebrated on 1st February 2023 at 6:30pm with evening prayer followed by Holy Qurbana.
