Join us as we celebrate the Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord on August 6th. This feast commemorates the moment when Jesus revealed His divine glory to the Apostles Peter, James, and John on Mount Tabor. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became dazzling white. Moses and Elijah appeared with Him, representing the Law and the Prophets.

The Transfiguration gives us a glimpse of the glory of heaven and reminds us of the eternal life that awaits us. It also strengthens our faith, just as it encouraged the Apostles before Christ's Passion.

In the Eastern Christian tradition, this feast is also called Koodara Perunal, linking it to the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles, where the faithful would dwell in booths to remember God’s presence in the wilderness.

Holy Qurbana

The Holy Qurbana will be celebrated on August 5th at 6:30 PM in preparation for the Feast. We invite you to join us in prayer as we prepare our hearts to celebrate this glorious occasion.

As we reflect on Christ's divine glory, let us pray for the grace to be transformed by His love and to grow in faith, knowing that we too are called to share in the glory of heaven.
