We were blessed to hold our Sunday School Annual Day on January 12th, marking our first Sunday School event of the new year. It was a momentous occasion to reflect on the past year and celebrate the many achievements of our Sunday School community.
Esha Rajan, a recent Class 12 Sunday School graduate, shared her journey and reflections on the lessons learned throughout her years with Sunday School. Esha expressed her deep faith and gratitude for the sense of community she had experienced, noting that these values would stay with her as she moved forward in life.
The students also showcased their creativity and teamwork by putting up a play that carried a profound message: keeping God’s word in our hearts and minds is key to protecting us from the temptations and pitfalls of everyday life. The performance was a thoughtful reminder of the importance of faith in navigating life’s challenges.
The main highlight of the day was the felicitation of the winners of the 2024 Talent Event, with our Vicar, Rev. Fr. John Varughese Mannamcheril, presenting trophies to the winners. It was heartening to see the incredible talent displayed by all the participants at both the parish and diocese levels.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from our Sunday School Head Teacher, Shali Saji, who expressed gratitude to everyone involved. It was truly a day of joy and celebration, as parents and children alike left with smiles on their faces, marking the occasion as one to remember for years to come.
Diocesan Metropolitan H.G. Abraham Mar Stephanos graces our parish, leading Holy Qurbana and blessing the faithful.
On January 19, 2025, our Church joyfully launched the new Sunday School year with a heartfelt ceremony following the Holy Qurbana, marking a fresh chapter of spiritual growth for our children.
We are excited about this new chapter in our church's history and look forward to the enhanced worship and community experiences it will bring.
